We are more than 300 tough frostkrone employees on permanent duty in production and in the office - all with a hot love for finger food and East Westphalia. We romp around the two perfect finger food production plants in Rietberg, Paderborn and Verl. And in our Foodservice headquarters in Breda/Holland. Every year, we prepare a whopping thousands of tons of the most crunchy finger food for you and the world. Pretty impressive, right? And we are very proud of. Why not? Freshly founded in 1997, we are just a little older than 20 years.

The Product Developer Foodservice / B2B with location in Breda is placed under the Product Development of the Frostkrone Tiefkühlkost and has a strong connection to the sales team.

The product developer is responsible for the new and further development of commercial and consumer-friendly frozen products for our food service customers. Together with adjacent departments, external suppliers and on customer request, you develop innovative frozen food products for B2B as well as for the out-of-home sales channels.

You are responsible for the idea, the implementation, the successful market launch and the technical project support of the development activities. You also support sales in product-specific issues. With your good sense for food trends and differentiated market and competition analyses, you manage to optimize the product range on an ongoing basis and thus secure the sustainable success of the company.

In addition, you assume responsibility for ensuring that the product is launched on time, in terms of quality and cost, as well as conducting the experiment and -coordination in laboratory and production scale.

The position will require regular travel to our production locations in Germany and potentially France and or United Kingdom.

Your Ingredients

  • A successful education as a chef or specialist for food technology or a comparable position.
  • Ideally several years of professional experience in product development of frozen products, ideally finger food and snacks
  • Pronounced customer orientation
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
  • Communication skills and team spirit Initiative, motivation, flexibility and mobility
  • Inventiveness and creative skills
  • A hands-on mentality / qualities
  • A safe handling of the common MS Office programs and with project management tools
  • Language skills: English (fluent/very good), German (a basic understanding would be appreciated
